The Boston Nickel plated steel wound strings will make your tenor 4 string banjo fill any space with its clear bright tone that would cut any dense mix. These are specially designed to play in the traditional Irish tuning of GDAE. The tuning was is the same as a fiddle or a mandolin.
The medium tension of the Boston TBNs will take care of your instrument by not putting too much pressure on the neck, the tail piece or head. It also will go easy on your frets.
