The Boss VE2 Vocal Harmonist is a vocal effects pedal for live and studio use. The core of the VE-2 is a harmoniser that lets you create lush vocals readily. Simply set the song’s key from the dial, or plug a guitar into the input of the pedal and sing, and the harmoniser will follow your music to create stirring, emotional sounds without requiring advanced music theory knowledge. Blend control also allows you to adjust the volume of the harmonies to sit perfectly in the mix. The VE-2 also provides additional effects, such as reverb, delay, a blended reverb and delay, and an enhancer effect. Three memory slots allow you to save and recall your favourite settings, perfect for dynamic performances or variety in recorded segments. This stompbox also includes a USB output that allows you to connect to a DAW, ideal for home and studio recording.

Or you can use hybrid mode, to detect key based on guitar and then a manual setting when the guitar stops or plays lead. 24 different harmony types let you choose whatever suits your needs, with 12 one-voice harmonies, 12 two-voice harmonies for thicker sounds, and other variations to add rich textured sound to your voice. Capable of subtle accompaniment or rich ensemble effects, this harmoniser can’t be beaten in its flexibility. The VE-2 also lets you add a final layer of polish with your choice of delay, reverb, or combined delay and reverb as well as an enhancer effect for a studio-quality sound

The VE-2 is perfect for live performance, but is also very much at home in the studio thanks to its flexible design. Patch memory lets you store up to four of your preferred settings and swap between them with the use of a footswitch. Phantom power on the unit lets you connect dynamic and condenser microphones alike. And USB audio connectivity lets you record directly into a DAW for home and studio recording. You could even use the VE-2 as a vocal mixing effect! This harmoniser pedal is also capable of being powered by both battery and mains AC power, making it easy to transport and connect in any setting.
