Description
Rathbone No 3 R3SRCEE Sikta Spruce/Rosewood Grand Auditorium Electro
The Grand-Auditorium shape is the natural evolution of the Concert and Auditorium models. Larger in both lower width and overall depth, the Rathbone No.3 Grand-Auditorium is designed to deliver an extra serving of power from every direction.
A fingerstyle dream, the R3SRCE combines Solid Spruce on the top with Rosewood on the back and sides. This classic pairing delivers perhaps the most sought after tone in the guitar world: Lots of low end, lots of brilliant high-end with a little scoop in the middle. Rosewood also helps naturally create resonant and harmonic overtones which allow every note to be fully articulated.
The perfect all-rounder, the No.3 has the same scale length as the Orchestra Model but body dimensions closer to a classic dreadnought. The larger body cavity naturally produces greater bass tones, but without sacrificing clarity, and that’s the beauty of the Grand-Auditorium. However, a larger body does not mean an unwieldy instrument. Far from it, in fact. The beautiful curves around the waist of the Rathbone No.3 ensure the guitar will sit comfortably on a knee or hang perfectly from your shoulders.
