The Vintage VSA500 Reissued Semi Acoustic Gloss Black is a bold and resonant instrument that boasts tonnes of vintage charm. It’s made from maple and semi hollow to give you a naturally enriched tone with a clear articulation.

Set into that gorgeous body are two Wilkinson designed WOCHB humbuckers, voiced to give you a vintage character and a thick, powerful tonality. Paired with a 3-way selector, you can draw out sonics that range from rich and bold, to sharp and cutting. This versatility makes it easily capable for any genre you want to throw at it! Rock, Britpop style chords or single note blues leads are just a few examples of where the VSA500 excels. Complete with impeccable, high-quality hardware, it delivers an unforgettable performance, play on!

An impressive, larger than life tonality

Big and bold. The VSA500 boasts a stunning and vocal voice through its semi-hollow design and WOCHB Double Coil pickups. The chambered maple body serves to enhance the resonance of each note, feeding even more detail through to the pickups and carrying your chords to every corner of the room.

And that’s good, because the sound it projects is rich, detailed and packing tonnes of presence thanks to the WOCHB pickups. They’re voiced in a vintage style and scoop up every detail of your string vibrations, translating it into a thick, bassy tone on the neck pickup, or a bright, cutting sparkle on the bridge. Combined with a three-way selector, you can emphasise your bass or treble notes, or select a perfect “inbetween” balance for a customised sound.

Chords or solos – both are at home here!

Play without restrictions. Because on the VSA500, you’re treated to a neck and fretboard that have been designed for ultimate comfort. The one-piece mahogany neck is shaped into a ‘soft C’ profile for a relaxed stance, giving your hand plenty of room for both chords and lead lines.

Married to this is a gloriously smooth rosewood fretboard. It’s curved into a 12″ radius for a superior feel and positive playability – whether you’re string bending up high or running complex chords down low. 22 medium jumbo frets adorn the board, elevating the comfort and accuracy of your playing by providing a low action point.

Quality hardware appointments

The VSA500 is easy to play, bold in its tones, and stunning in its appearance. And it only gets better! Thanks to a series of quality appointments, you’re treated to a reliable and consistent performance every time you pick and play… in addition to their alluring aesthetic touches!

At the top end you’ve got a set of 3-a-side Grover machine heads to provide superb tuning stability, and a simple, effective action. Just below those sits a GraphTech NuBone nut to provide frictionless guide for your strings. It enhances the resonance and vocality of each string by providing a buzz-free performance.

And then at the other end of your strings is a Wilkinson T.O.M bridge to add even more tuning stability. It also makes adjusting intonation a breeze, keeping your guitar sounding its best for every show. Last of all, a stylish body and neck binding brings together the aesthetic to leave with you a guitar that looks outstanding, and plays like a dream.
