Cort AF515CE OP Electro Acoustic Guitar
The Cort AF515CE Open Pore Electro Acoustic Guitar is an electro acoustic guitar with a compact Concert body. Its clear tone with singing highs and less bass response is especially appreciated when playing with finger technique. The front of the guitar is made of spruce wood, the back and sides of mahogany plywood. The mahogany neck is joined by a merbau fingerboard with 20 frets and positioning dots for easy orientation. The lower cut-out of the body offers a good match even at the higher positions of the fingerboard. Sound pickup is handled by the company’s Cort CE304T preamp with three-band EQ, volume control and built-in tuner. The fit of the strings in the specially shaped merbau headstock and chrome Die-Cast mechanisms guarantees the guitar good sustain and tuning stability. Traditional design elements are complemented by a rosette, dark binding, a logo on the headstock and a black pickguard that also protects the guitar’s paintwork from scratches.
The Standard series, with models marked with the abbreviation AD, is a notional entry-level series of Cort acoustic guitars suitable for complete beginners or guitarists who don’t want to invest in a new instrument. Even at a lower price, Cort Standard guitars offer very good workmanship and sound.
