The Evans G12 Coated White Drum Head 14” is a single-ply head that offers the best features of both single and double-ply in one. The 12mil film gives the feel and openness of a single-ply with the durability and warmth of a double. Producing a deep fundamental tone, the coated film adds warmth, rounding the tone of the drum. Being highly responsive and defined, it’s ideal for both live and studio applications and a range of playing styles and genres.
Utilising Evans’ Level 360 Technology, the head has an enhanced collar design that ensures consistent contact with a shells bearing edge, creating a fuller tone. It also makes tuning easier whilst extending the heads working pitch range – a true innovation.
