The Evans B14DRY Genera Dry Coated Snare Drum Head 14” offers controlled tone on any snare drum. Made from a single 10mil ply, the head is articulate yet dry. A 2mil overtone control ring ‘floats’ underneath the head, reducing overtones from unwanted ringing. Through this ring and the head, precision drilled vents not only help reduce overtones even further, but also tailor the sound to a more focused, sustain-controlled and dry tone.
Incorporating Evans’ Level 360 Technology, tuning is easier and the range is extended allowing you to create the ideal tone for your drum. This is thanks to it’s vertically enhanced collar design that guarantees a flush and even fit with the shell, transferring as much of your stroke as possible to the shell.
