Alkaline Batteries VS Carbon Zinc Batteries
Alkaline batteries are suitable for electronic devices with a medium energy demand, whereas carbon zinc batteries are best for low-drain devices. Though alkaline batteries are more expensive than their carbon zinc counterparts, they can last 5 – 10 times longer for high drain applications, thus making them a more cost-effective choice.
Positive and Negative Electrode
When replacing batteries, you may find the correct size and battery type from the manufacturer of your electronic device. Insert the batteries into your device with the (+) and (-) electrode aligned correctly. The terminals of your devices could be ruined if the battery is inserted backwards.
